CATHERINE FRENCH (Founder of Elijah Rising) – Working to end sexual exploitation since 2007, Cat is equipping justice warriors to confront culture through prayer, awareness, intervention, and aftercare.  As a sociologist, Cat has a big-picture understanding of the forces that are pushing societies to accept and normalize the brutalities of prostitution, which is nothing but the exploitation of vulnerability.  Since beginning this journey a decade ago, Cat has launched and built Elijah Rising, the Museum of Modern-Day Slavery, and Kendleton Farms and has taken 10,000 individuals on human trafficking awareness van tours.

JANICE STURKIE A gifted intercessor and teacher, Janice shares God’s heart of love for Zion and the Jewish people; she has served as an advocate for the March of Remembrance Houston for several years and is well-versed on the issues at the root of the Holocaust and genocide. She understands that failing to take a stand in the face of persecution, prejudice, and indifference is equivalent to aligning oneself with the perpetrators of injustice.

BLANCA TALTYBlanca began with The Source for Women as a volunteer and is now going on 7-1/2 years with The Source as Client Services Director.  She is married to Michael Talty and is a mother of 6 children ranging in age from 23 months to 23 years.  She is tasked with establishing a greater, dedicated emphasis on external service in outreach and community engagement for continued development of key collaborating partner relationships to benefit client referral programs.

CHRISTINE EGE Chris has a passion to bring truth to God’s people in a way that empowers and equips them.  She currently serves as president of the East Texas Area leadership team for Aglow International and as director of Boundless Mercy, the northeast Houston affiliate of Elijah Rising. She is also part of the core leadership team for the March of Remembrance Houston.

SAMANTHA JACKSON RUDE (worship leader) – A native of Katy, Texas, and Worship Pastor since 2012, Samantha has an extensive background in worship and creative arts ministries.  Spirit-led and Spirit-filled, freedom-focused worship is her passion.
